Monoculture Commissary LLC Private Chef Service Agreement

Private Chef Menu Planning and Proposals:

Chef Dusty will collaborate with you, the client, on a custom-curated menu proposal based on the information provided. For quality control purposes, MC asks that the client/chef proposal be in writing via email. Private chef menu planning, travel fees and the sourcing of ingredients are included in the client’s quoted rate. All of the agreed upon menu items are subject to change from the initial menu due to ingredient availability, quality, or other unforeseeable factors. MC sources local ingredients first, then local/sustainable from a local purveyor. Please inform Chef Dusty if you would prefer them to frequent a different store. In some cases, it is necessary to supplement ingredients from your neighborhood grocery stores, specialty food stores, and farmers markets.

Scheduling:

Chef Dusty will arrive to your home at the agreed-upon time on the agreed-upon date(s). Chef will need full access to the cooking area for an estimated 2-8 hours. Please make your home accessible to your chef on the scheduled cook-date. If for some reason, your chef cannot access your home (locks were changed, tricky pets, etc...) you will be charged as a last-minute cancellation and will be invoiced for the full cost of the service. For everyone's safety, we kindly request that young children and pets remain outside the kitchen during meal preparation and service. While you and your guests are welcome to join your chef in the kitchen to observe and ask questions, ensuring a safe environment is our priority.

Table & Service Ware:

Monoculture Commissary kindly asks that you provide all table and service ware for your reserved date, including plates, flatware, stemware, and linens. If you require rentals, we can arrange them for an additional fee, which will be agreed upon prior to the event date.

Kitchen:

At Monoculture Commissary, we deeply value your trust and promise to treat you, your home, and your equipment with the utmost respect. Following our service, we will leave our workspace clean, remove all our personal equipment, and carefully store any leftover food. To help us deliver the best experience, we kindly ask that you provide a clean work area for us to prepare your exceptional meal.

Deposit:

To reserve your event date, we require a 50% deposit. You can make payment using check, cash, or Square, and your service date will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event.

Cancellations:

Please provide advanced notice if you choose to cancel a cook-date. If you choose to cancel within 7 days to 72 hours of cook date, the deposit will be kept. If you choose to cancel within 72 hours of cook date the full service fee will be invoiced.

Invoices and Accepted Payment Options:

Invoices are sent from MC through Quickbooks. Checks, cash and direct bank transfers are preferred forms of payment. MC accepts all major credit cards. If you choose to pay by credit card, an additional processing fee of 3% will incur. MC does accept Venmo & Zelle payments. Please contact Chef Dusty at 817-689-0665 to discuss alternative payment methods.
